What is it about night time that makes you feel invincible?

Ideas starts to rattle inside your head that you feel like it will detonate unless you do something about it or pen them down somewhere. You want to breakdance idiotically, run into the night and see how the city looks like when everything is remote and calm and everyone has temporarily died down.

Maybe you read something that makes you feel like it was written just for you, or you discover music and art that either leaves you in silence to witness its beauty or gives you the feeling that you were meant to come across this certain piece.

It’s this feeling that I like — the feeling of not being monitored by anyone and it’s the time when I feel like my true self without having to put up any walls or deceptions for the sake of fitting in.

Talk to me at night, its when I’m at my most vulnerable and true state. Witness the stripped down version of my personality and I’ll dare to stare right back, because soon this feeling of immortality shall be replaced as the birds chirps and alarm clocks forces other people to wake up and I fall headfirst into this mundanity of real life.

But until then, I am thinking miles ahead of what I can achieve and that is enough for me at the moment.
